Question: I was volunteering at a battered women's shelter recently. During the course of a week I saw two men come in and justify beating their wives by saying "the Bible says she's supposed to obey me!" in so many words or less.
Answer: The bib;le was writen how many years ago? Back in those days women were property so yes it was right that they obey their husbands. But today, women are not property and so no we don't have to obey.
